Our Design & Craftsmanship Process

At Stitch and Hide Cap Co., every product we create is a reflection of our passion for design and craftsmanship. From leather patch hats to printed shirts, we take pride in bringing every piece to life in-house, where quality and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do.

As a retired military veteran and amateur graphic designer, I find great fulfillment in using my skills to design and produce custom apparel that not only looks great but serves a purpose. From concept to final product, everything is designed using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, ensuring every detail is perfect.

Leather Patch Production

Our signature leather patches are crafted with precision using a Glowforge Pro laser cutter. This cutting-edge tool allows us to achieve intricate detail and long-lasting durability in every patch we make. Each patch is designed to stand out, adding a rugged, timeless touch to our hats that reflects the care and craftsmanship we put into our work.

Printed Apparel with DTG & DTF Technology

For our custom shirts and hoodies, we use the Epson F2270 SureColor printer for direct-to-garment (DTG) and direct-to-film (DTF) printing. This advanced technology lets us create vivid, detailed designs that are perfect for a variety of apparel styles. Every shirt or hoodie we produce is made with care, ensuring a high-quality, comfortable product.

Supporting Military Units with Custom Apparel

As a retired military member, I take special pride in working with military units to produce team and unit shirts and hoodies for resale in their MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) funds. This allows units to raise money for events like cookouts, family days, and other activities that strengthen camaraderie and build community.

I enjoy helping units create custom apparel that reflects their identity, while also providing a way for them to generate funds for meaningful activities. It’s an honor to continue supporting my fellow service members in this way, combining my love for design with a purpose-driven mission.
